California!

Well guys, I did it, I'm finally in living in California. I moved last week and finally been able to update a bit. Unfortunately I still haven't gotten internet in my apartment so I'm in the business center of my complex typing a quick blog and can't update any pictures. I'll try to update as soon as I get internet just thought I would leave a quick note!

Ft. McKavitt and Lightning!!!

So I had to post a few of these before I post the Dolan Falls and Independence Creek photos. These photos are from Ft. McKavitt and Lightning shots I captured LAST NIGHT. Ft. McKavitt is an old fort by my hometown the the Junction Krew always goes the night before the last day to paint. I met the krew and said good bye to them one last time... The Lightning shots are from last night when a lightning store came through my current residence... I am so lucky to have caputred these shots! Enjoy!

So my cousin and I went out by San Angelo, Texas and shot a few portraits for a local salon in my hometown. They've been asking for some art work for a bit and I finally got time to go shoot! My cousin and I have been best friends since she was born!!! hahaha. Enjoy the photos and keep coming back I'll be uploading Independence Creek and Dolan Falls! Love you guys!

Theory of a Deadman!

Theory of a Deadman came to Abilene, TX along with Faktion, Cult to Follow and 32 Leaves. Theory of a deadman is my favorite current band and was excited to get to go watch them and take lots of pictures! Here are for some pictures from the concert!

Michael's senior pics!

It's senior portrait time! Michael is a senior at SHS in my hometown. He's a bright young man witha gorgeous smile, voted best smile by his senior class, and an infectious laugh! I wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavours! Congrats Michael SHS class of '08!

Checking in... 4 months later!

So it has been almost 5 months since my last blog! I told you guys I'm not a good blogger! hahaha. So I've been super busy subbing and working on little photo projects! I'm almost done editing ALL of the photos I've taken over the last few months... seriously I have gone through about 3,000 photos today alone! ARGH! I really am going to try to blog a lot more this summer and the months to come. As most you guys know, I'm moving to California in May to start GRAD SCHOOL at Brooks Institute of Photography... stoked about that! Below are a few "preview" pictures I've been working on today! Enjoy... and I promise to blog more about the photos later!

Hello 2008!!!

Hello people!

First and foremost I wish everyone a splendid 2008! I have been incredibly busy with school, graduation, moving, family, friends and photography! I moved to a family house in the Abilene area. I'm excited to start some photography that I usually wouldn't do. I'm opening my soul up to do senior portraits for my hometown kids and also for the Abilene area. I am moving to California sometime in May or June. I'm going to continue my education in photography and attend Brooks Institute of Photography. I'm waaaaay excited about this. I want to learn as much as I can about photography and Brooks will give me that option! So I just wanted to leave a quick, short note. I'll be updating this more often I hope... hopefully with senior portraits! hahahah Take care everyone and Have a Happy New YEAR!
